Finding Your Moment
Wednesday, April 23rd, 2008There’s no shame in having your major be “undecided.” Don’t let people get you down if you haven’t decided! So what if you have no idea what you’re going to do with your life! No one does!
No, undecided is good. It means you’re biding your time, waiting until you KNOW what you want. Undecided is like a patient jungle cat, who knows its not time to pounce for the kill, but must wait patiently for his moment… That’s what you’re doing with your major. You’re not ready to pounce on your life, and hold it in your jaws, blood dripping from its… ok, the analogy breaks down fairly quickly…
In any case, the real shame is in majoring in music for 4 years, then changing your mind at the last minute, and realizing that not one single hour of credit transfers to ANYTHING at all, and now you have to completely start over with NOTHING except lots of debt and… sorry, thats purely a hypothetical situation.
