Whose Pants are These?

July 9th, 2008

In light of today’s strip I must confess that Chuck’s philosophy of buying clothes on the fly no longer works for me. I’ve noticed that different brands of pants fit differently, and sometimes just different pairs of pants, even within the same brand still don’t fit the same.

What is this world coming to?

Why can’t I know what number I need to get, and just buy pants that have that number? Now I’m trying everything on, going into dressing rooms and taking my pants off not IN public, but very NEAR the public… I tell you, pants should be simpler than this! I should be able to buy pants with the right number on them and have them all fit the same, no matter where or when I buy them — pants should be like McDonalds, you order a cheeseburger in Texas, and can order the exact same tasting cheeseburger in New York!

Except in London, I noticed, their McDonald’s tasted pretty terrible… kinda grainy… come to think of it, pants aren’t as cool in London either…

No offense, I love England a lot, but I must confess that even since the early days of Dorm Dorks, I’ve had a history of making fun of the British. I really don’t where it comes from. I liked London last time I was there. Honest!

Screw London. More importantly though, nice FIF reference in the title of today’s blog…that was my favorite part.

Yes… I was wondering who caught that. Man, how crazy are we, making references to obscure bands that aren’t even around anymore…

Yes you are crazy. Any you should know…Wizard is about to die!

Yes, because he needs food, badly!

Come to think of it, so do I…
