His Name Is Bruce
Hey Everyone!
Don’t forget about the Dallas Comic-Con: Star Wars Fandays event coming up on October 25-26 in Plano, TX. Did I mention that not only will Jewel Staite (Kaylee from Firefly) will be there, but the one and only BRUCE CAMPBELL will be there! You remember him from all the Evil Dead movies, all the Spider-Man movies, Bubba Hotep, “Burn Notice,” “Brisco County Jr.,” need I go on?
Of course, I will also be there! While your asking Bruce and Kaylee for their signatures, it’d be a great time to pick up some orignal sketches, prints, or books. If you’re in the North Texas area, this will be a great show, so come check it out. Click here for more info about the event. See ya soon!

You never told me you know Mr. Campbell. That guy is the man. His doo doo is more talented and funny than anything on major network sitcoms and sketch shows any day of the week. You should go back and change all the Seth Green strips to praise him because he really does make everything better, even his own doo doo.

He made Old Spice better.

He didn’t hurt Duran Duran either.

Man, no one has ever been as right about anything in the world as your comments have been about Bruce. Spot-on.

Also, he is my favorite part of the Spider Man movies…sorry Hanky.

I kindof agree, actually. I do like the first one a lot, and the second one wasn’t bad, I don’t think. But Bruce is the only part of 3 that made it even remotely possible to watch.
Just my opinion.

I don’t remember him in the third one. Thats probably because his cameo happened when I was wiping blood out of my eyes from the burst capillaries caused from me wretching so hard.

You guys are too hard on Spider-Man 3. Sure there were parts that sucked, but the whole movie wasn’t that bad. However, I agree completely on Bruce Campbell. Also, if you’re a fan of him and haven’t watched “Burn Notice”, you are missing out. He has a major supporting role in it. It starts again in January.

Well… I’m glad you enjoyed Spidey-3, but morally, I cannot support your stance. It’s in my top 20 worst list…
I’ll probably netflix burn notice when it goes to dvd. I’ve only caught bits and pieces, but it looks fun!

Let me just put it to you this way…at least its not the Spider-Man series from the 1970’s and ’80’s. Spider-Man isn’t supposed to look like he’s wearing pajamas. That’s just lame. I rank the three recent flicks this way…#2 is #1, #1 is #2, and #3 is #4. (It doesn’t deserve to be on the podium, but it at least finishes the race.)

The race to make the most money off the least amount of quality. The good news (for your Spiderman3) is that they all signed on to do more, so its very possible that 3 won’t be the worst thing to ever happen to something we all grew up and loved because we can look forward to them trying to bring drive it at least a little bit farther into the ground.
