Wizard World Linkfest
Wizard World Texas this year was just as good as last year, although I’m still pretty tired from it, so my musings on it might be slightly less witty than normal. Slightly. Thanks to everyone who came out, and welcome to the newcomers who I met first at the show!
Probably the best thing to happen from this year was all the cool artists I met and got to hang with. I sat next to Jarrod L. Perez, who is a great guy, and an incredibly prolific artist. He has a quirky chrairchature-type style that suits itself well for his books — and he makes a LOT of books. I also hung with Kyle Sanders, who makes two webcomics: Standad Deviation (if you like Dorm Dorks, you’ll like this) and Jovian Luck, a funny sci-fi adventure. David Degrand made quite an impression on me with his cool, quirky style as well. Give these guys a visit and tell ‘em I sent ya!
IF you’ve never been to a “Live Art Show,” it’s something you really need to do sometime. Saturday’s live art show was a blast, we watched some awesome artists work on some fantastic pieces, and then those pieces got auctioned off for charity. It was a cool event, check out the photos from it at the Heroes for Heroes website.
All in all, a great show. You may want to put down the dates for next year, if you haven’t already.

Why no you say things bout’ sir Strangely…Sir Strangely gave you his presence and his underappreciated company. Why you no say stuff bout him. he coolest dude you know…i’m pretty sure he is…if I had met sir Strangely, i would shakes his hand and never wash it again. You know Strangely is the humblest guy ever…he so humble, there should should be a book in the bible called,”Dirk the Humble.” We would go to church and reverend would say, ” Let us now turn our bibles to Dirk chapter 5 verse 2 and then learn to follow his humbleness.” Why you know write bout him….?

Allow me to introduce my friend Dirk Strangely, who is the coolest dude I know. But I think thats mostly due to his hat of awesomeness.
The fake grammar mistakes made me laugh out loud at my desk, Dirk, very nice.
