They’re just such classic that I want to make sure to see them, and the digital enhancement makes it much easier to bare. Unfortunately, they didn’t digitally remaster some of the lines.

I can’t wait for the New Star Trek movie. I hope Spock has Sylar’s abilities.

They were showing some of those late at night on abc some time ago, it was really neat to see them with a new light. The space scenes were really well done and the episode with the planet eater looked awesome.

Yeah, its definitely a weird juxtaposition. And there’s certain things you just have to let go. I’m sure it seemed very futuristic in 1967, but now there’s just so many things that don’t make sense, even down to odd camera angles, overdone music cues, etc. I think its funny but also important to remember that Star Trek was a “Desilu” production. As in, Desi Arnaz and Lucille Ball’s production company.

But none of that takes away from its greatness for me. Pure awesome.

No, I’m actually not mocking you. I’ve been on-the-line for a while now, and I’m running out of Star Trek episodes. I saw the first season of the digitally enhanced version and I need to see the rest of them. It’s a bit weird, seeing this awesome looking ship and planets and space scenes, and then cardboard computers on the bridge… but what can you do.

You should — and, if you have an x-box, you can stream it directly to there, so you can watch it on tv instead of your computer monitor.
