The  academic advisors at my school were some of the nicest people I’d met in the administration. Unfortunately, I think they were also the most misinformed… I can’t even remember how many times I heard contradicting information from them, and had to re-do things because someone didn’t know what they were talking about.

Luckily, this new storyline is not about that, but instead, about a quest to find a major, and thus find some sort of meaning in life…

Here’s where I go into pure opinion: I think that there are a few select occupations that require a specific degree — like doctor, for example. But if you’re just planning to go into regular business and do something somewhat generic, your degree can be varied quite a bit. Do something that interests you. Just my two cents.

The question remains… what interests Chuck?
