Redesign Maddness Fun Time!

Monday, February 2nd, 2009

The tired and true red-background had been around for over a year… it’s time for a massive site redisgn, and now you have it! I hope you enjoy it!

So, lets have a quick tour, shall we? The storylines and archive pages are all still intact, just as they were, right above the comic. The new readers page has been all updated with new pictures of everyone, and better descriptions, and links! Also added to those top links above the comic is a ‘contact‘ page where you can send me an email directly, so don’t hesitate to send me your thoughts, feelings, and confessions of sins.

You’ll also notice a quicker way to get to the beginning of each storyline in the drop down menu on the far right sidebar, just under the comic.

The rest of it is mostly the same, mostly. Cool links are along the sides, and the calendar and search features are now on the left sidebar. There’s still the donate button on the far right, if anyone feels inclined to leave a tip, and there’s two “vote buttons” on the lower right hand side, that let you vote for Dorm Dorks on a few top webcomics sites. If you like the strip and want to help me out that way, thats great, but I’m not gonna promote voting all the time, cause that gets annoying.

Anyway, hope you like the site, I had a good time making it. To the future!

Class Description

Friday, February 6th, 2009

I just realized that I kind of have a tendency for making you guys read a lot. Meh.

So, here’s the thing. All of those class titles are real. Real titles, I promise. I did change most of the descriptions. Most of. Yeah, some of those descriptions are real, taken right out of the book.I’m interested to see if you guys can spot the real descriptions from the fake ones.

The best part? I have actually taken some of these classes. Yep. Which one of those from that list would you want to go to three times a week for four months?

The Monday Blues

Monday, February 9th, 2009

You know whats awesome? When the sewage line under your front yard blows open and leaks everywhere.

Oh, and it’s monday.

Face to me.

The good news, to balance that out, is that I just ordered “Shawn of the Dead.” Why didn’t I already own that? What was I thinking?

Also, I have discovered, that there are few things in life that feel better than driving around town with your windows down a glorious day, listening to ZZ Top. Yeah, I’m “that guy.”
