The only question I ever thought was hard, is “Do I like Kirk, or do I like Picard?”
Not really. My first exposure to Shatner was his later work (Priceline commercials, crappy records, etc.) so I still have a hard time suspending my disbelief enough to enjoy him in the original series.
But I grew up on TNG and thoroughly enjoy it. Yes, even Wesley; I’m a big enough dork that I identified with him over most of the crew.
Yeah! I like your attitude, Marcus! And props for the Weird Al reference! I grew up mostly with TNG and the films with Shatner, more so than the the original series. I watched those old movies so much it wasn’t right… I can understand the Shatner block if you’ve only seen him in recent stuff.

If he’s a dork, then I’m a level above that on the dork scale. And proud of it! Trek is awesome, don’t be hatin!

Wasn’t there an earlier strip where they saw the new Star Trek?

They didn’t see the new movie until it came out, and there’s definitely a special strip when that happened, but it was after this one.
