So far, summer movies have been real hit or miss, like Star Trek, which is IMMENSLEY aweomse, or Wolverine, which really did nothing for me. I really want Terminator to be good. Ever since I watched the very first Terminator go after the mullet-sporting Sara Connor, I’ve longed to see a movie where we get to actually see John, leading the resistance and being the ultimate badass.

And who better to show us that than Christian Bale? I really want this movie to be awesome, but I have this nagging feeling that it will not be anything close to as cool as it should be, and it doesn’t help that most reviewers are trashing it.

I need to stop thinking about movies before I see them… I’m always disappointed. Except by Trek. I expected greatness and got more than that in spades.
